Tubular elements of proper rating, material and shape can be used in most heating applications requiring process temperatures up to 750 �C (1382 �F).

Tubular elements may be clamped, immersed in liquids, cast into metal or spaced away from the work as radiant heaters. They may also be positioned in ducts or vessels for heating air or other gases.

THREADED FITTINGS
Threaded fittings can be factory brazed or welded to the elements cold sections. These fittings provide a leak tight joint in applications where the heater is installed in open tanks or vessels. Fittings are available in brass, steel or stainless steel.

MOUNTING BRACKETS
Mounting brackets can be factory crimped to elements to facilitate installation. Special brackets are available on demand for high volume orders.

ELEMENT CLAMP
This two piece stainless steel clamp can be used as element standoffs in ovens or tanks. One half of the clamp is ideal for clamp-on applications when used with a stud welded to the tank or plate, especially with U or W formed elements.

Immersion Heaters -Screwplug Heaters - Flange Heaters

Immersion heaters are tubular elements built on flanges or on screw plugged lids. They are installed in a waterproof way in all kinds of tanks and circulation heaters.


✓  Liquids, gases and compressed air heating
✓  Water and special watery oil solutions, special and corrosive heating baths.

•  Immersion heaters can be fitted to a square or round flange or on a screw plug.
(these are available in steel, brass or stainless steel)

★  Using low power immersion heaters in viscous liquids or in liquids with a high density of solids could cause an accumulation of wastes on the elements.

★  Immersion heaters with incoloy sheath or stainless steel can be furnished with chemically passivated sheaths, which provide for a really good resistance to corrosion in highly corrosive applications. The passivation is done by using the polishing electrolyte technique.
