INFRARED QUARTZ TUBE HEATERS

  • Nickel Chromium wire helically wounded in a translucent quartz tube;

According to your needs, the quartz tubes can be installed in a stainless steel casing. Connecting leads protected with ceramic beads can also be added.

Quartz infrareds are very easy to operate. They are an efficient source of energy and can deliver near and far infrared wavelengths.

With the progress of technology and new products, heaters need to be precise and flexible for maximum performance with minimum maintenance. Our refractory ceramic plates are an excellent choice for applications where convections heat are not convenient.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL MODULES

All our temperature modules have the anti-arcing feature and your operation can be selected in Fahrenheit or Celsius.

The S20-D2 and S20-D2C can be automatically or manually operated.

The multi-functions digital readout, displays actual temperature as well as error codes such as open triac / heater and shorted triac. Individual LED’S indicate manual operation, soft start, high / low temperature, open and reversed thermocouple, as well as a center yellow LED which indicates power output to the mold.

The S20-D3C Temperature Control Module designed for those applications where ease of operation, cost and features are of concern. It has been intelligently designed, making it easy to set up and simple to use, while maximizing productivity, and providing an exceptional range of features, in order to meet the rigorous requirements of today’s plastic industry. The Microprocessor based circuitry of the S20-D3C performs a full array of diagnostic and operational functions. Set-point temperatures are automatically maintained by means of the fully Adaptive-auto-tuning PID/FUZZY LOGIC function.

The µTC-15a has a dual digital display which provides readouts of both setpoint and process tempe-ratures. Switchable PID or Fuzzy (amperage control) provides precise control under a variety of proces-sing conditions and the built in audible alarm combined with descriptive error codes efficiency alert the operator to specific problems.

The µATC-15 temperature control module is a fully microprocessor based instrument which has been intelligently designed for hot runner mold temperature control applications where advanced operational and diagnostic features are needed.

The UATC-20 Temperature Control Module has been designed with the latest in microprocessor technology for Hot Runner Applications where state-of-the art operational and diagnostic features are a requisite. There are many little features, such as gold-plated edge connector, incorporated within the UATC-20 which greatly enhances its operation. The UATC-20 is a rugged, simple to set-up and easy to use module which is versatile enough to move from project to project, with all the sophistication necessary for today’s demanding molding requirements.

An interesting feature of the µATC-15 is its capacity to provide a snapshot of the operation of the heating zone by displaying amperage draw. The µATC-15 also has the ability to adjust maximum amp draw to a point just above the maximum wattage of the heater. When the controller detects a current which is greater than that value, it will sound an alarm so the offending component can be replaced.

FLEXIBLE SILICONE HEATERS  
 
RESISTANCE HEATERS CYLINDER AND BAYONET TYPE  
The Cylinder type resistance heater consists of a ceramic cylinder with grooves for the insertion of high temperature nickel chrome coiled wires.

The Bayonet type resistance heater consists of ceramic round plates with holes installed at intervals with high temperature nickel chrome coiled wires going through the plate holes.

These two types of assembly are solidified by a stainless steel rod going through the total length of the heaters.
