Features

Cast-in heating elements, also known as "cast-in," are recognized for their unbeatable lifespan. They provide high heating power and a uniform surface temperature.

Available Options

  • Clamping collars
  • Thermocouple holes
  • Antideflagrant or standard terminal enclosure
  • Epoxy sealing (for use in a humid environment)
  • Voltage: 120V to 600V single-phase or three-phase

Materials and Construction

  • Cast-in elements are tubular elements molded in aluminum or bronze
  • They are commonly designed in cylinder, plate, or ring shapes. Other shapes are available upon request
  • Aluminum is ideal for applications not exceeding 750 °F (400 °C), while bronze is suitable for applications up to 1100 °F (595 °C)
  • Cylinders and plates can be manufactured with liquid or air cooling options
  • For air cooling, the cast elements are equipped with fins to accelerate cooling, while for water or cooling tubes, they have tubular fittings.

Applications

  • Cooking for the food industry
  • Bag and container sealing
  • Press heating
  • Welding of polymer profiles
  • Heating of all types of molds
  • Plastic and rubber extrusion
  • Etc.
