Features

Volton's high density strip heaters provide uniform heat and increased longevity thanks to a dense refractory insulator that quickly transmits heat from the elements to the sheath. They are made with corrosion-resistant steel or stainless steel 430 sheath materials for use in temperatures up to 1200°F.

General Features:

  • High density strip heaters contain a dense refractory insulator that quickly transmits heat from the elements to the sheath, maintaining a low internal temperature and thus contributing to increased longevity of the element even in demanding conditions.
  • Precise positioning of the heating wire in the element ensures uniform heat on the sheath, both in length and width of the heated surface.
  • Strip heaters are 3/8 ‘’ thick and have a rigid sheath that fits solidly on flat surfaces.
  • Three types of connections provide the necessary connection flexibility according to your needs.
  • Robust construction suitable for high temperatures and high power densities.

Sheath Materials:

  • Corrosion-resistant steel for sheath temperatures up to 750°F
  • Stainless steel 430 for sheath temperatures up to 1200°F
